Orientation Course for Catering Personnel (OCCP)

This special course has been introduced by DG Shipping keeping in a view about the requirement of the shipping industry with regards to availability of catering crew.

It was felt that there is amble scope of employment, for such candidates who have qualified hotel management, in cruise shipping and passenger liners.

We provide STCW 2010 APPROVED BY DG SHIPPING(GOV OF INDIA) AND INDIAN CDC WILL BE PROVIDED.

Eligibility

The candidate who have completed the Degree/Diploma in Hotel Management from a recognized and reputed Board or University are eligible to attend the course with 40% or above mark in English in 10th or 12th Standard.

Age

18 to 28 years as on the date of commencement of the course

Medical and Eye Sight Requirements

Medical fitness certificate from DG Approved doctor under M.S (Medical Examination).

Job Role

After completion of this Course candidate can work in National/Foreign ships as a Steward Helper/ General Steward.
